Delhiites today woke up to a clear morning with the minimum temperature settling at 26.4 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
The MeT department has predicted thunderstorm or rains in the evening.
An official of the department said that humidity level recorded at 8.30 AM was 65 per cent.
"The skies will become partly cloudy later in the day. There is a possibility of rains or thunderstorm in the evening," the official said.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 38 degrees Celsius, he also said.
Yesterday, the minimum and maximum temperatures recorded were 25 degrees Celsius and 37 degrees Celsius respectively.
