West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today instructed the administration to renovate the Posta trading market and prepare a master plan regarding the renovation.
"Posta Bazaar is one of the oldest Bazaars of India. It has to be renovated. A master plan needs to be prepared on what should be done for its renovation," Banerjee said while addressing a program here.
Local MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay, local MLA and Police Commissioner will discuss on what has to be done, she said.
In March this year, an under construction flyover had collapsed in Posta area leading to deaths of over 20 persons.
