"As far as the question of freedom fighters is concerned, it can also be seen as a slight if you add some person in the same series...What has been the contribution of this person and to history?" Chaudhary said speaking to reporters here.

Chaudhary was responding to a question for his view on the depiction of Balakrishna's picture alongside freedom fighters seen at the Ram Lila ground, the current venue of Baba Ramdev's protest against black money.

Balkrishna is in CBI custody in connection with a fake document case.

Chaudhary also said that "Everybody may have their own point of view (on the black money issue), I will not condemn it, this is for people to decide. Who will not like if someone says that black money should be a part of the nation's treasury? Or that it should be spent on the welfare of the people".

"But look at it practically as to what amendments can be made in the law and what changes can we make. In our country's Parliament, Assemblies and even the judiciary is taking these issues seriously. Now if this discussion also takes place on roads and in homes, I don't see anything wrong," he said.

Nobody, however, should impose their viewpoint on others, Chaudhary added.
