An employee of the power department was caught accepting a bribe of Rs 70,000 here, police said today.
Acting on a complaint, a team of anti-corruption bureau yesterday caught accountant in the executive engineer office in Ram Sanehi Ghat area while accepting a bribe of Rs 70,000, police said.
A case has been registered in this connection at the Ram Sanehi ghat police station and further action was being taken, police added.
