A Power Development Department employee was electrocuted while repairing a transmission line in Kupwara district of Kashmir Valley, police said today.
Mohammad Amin Khan (55 ), working as a lineman in the department, received electric shock while repairing a high transmission cable at Renin village in Handwara, a police spokesman said.
Khan was shifted to a hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead, he said.
Police has initiated investigations, the spokesman said.
