Sub Divisional Officer Ram Kumar Fouzdar had allegedly demanded money from Parvinder to get power transformer installed at his land in Lagarpur village, vigilance bureau Inspector Anil Kumar said.
After getting complaint in this regard, vigilance officials laid down a trap yesterday and nabbed the officer red-handed, he said.
The accused was produced before a court in Jhajjar today. which remanded him to a 14-day judicial custody.
