The workers, who assembled at the Narauli police outpost where their colleagues were allegedly thrashed yesterday, alleged that the SP goons not only beat their co-workers but also fled away with their valuables.
The police later registered an FIR in this connection, circle officer Amar Singh said assuring that those involved in the incident will be soon behind bars.
The striking workers allege that the employees were thrashed by some goons belonging to the ruling party when they had gone to the Janaita village of the district yesterday after reports of power theft there.
