The miscreants also damaged two transformers worth over Rs two crore, they said.
According to the complaint lodged by an engineer working at the station, over 20 armed men yesterday attacked the station's security guard and locked him inside a store room before vandalising the station.
They decamped with the equipment in a truck, police said, adding, no arrests have been made in this connection so far.
