Deputy Commissioner, Lahaul and Spiti S.S. Guleria, who visited the affected site, said power supply would be restored tomorrow while efforts were afoot to restore telecommunication network in a day or two.
The delay in restoring power supply was due to obstructions caused by 500 mts steep high rocks on both sides of Pin River but the work of erecting electricity poles to resume the power supply had been done with the cooperation of local people.
The diesel and kerosene oil was supplied through helicopters besides edible commodities so that people may not face any inconvenience, he added.
He said a pedestrian bridge was made operational yesterday and the construction work on the Span Bridge, mostly for transportation of luggage, would also be completed within a day or two.
The artificial lake had breached and the water had drained out averting threat of flash floods and the situation was fast returning to normal except for the reconstruction 500 mt stretch of the road which had been washed away.
