A powerful blast possibly caused by a car bomb rocked the Somali capital Mogadishu today, police and witnesses said, on the same day the troubled country's new prime minister announced his government lineup.
"There was a heavy blast near the national theatre, the vehicle was reportedly stopped by police before it was detonated. There are casualties but we don't have details yet," police officer Mohamed Adan said.
