Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will flag off an 81-km railway line and a passenger train between Sonipat and Jind tomorrow.
He will also launch a number of other passenger centric projects from Chandigarh railway station through video conferencing, according to an official release.
Prabhu will be accompanied by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at Chandigarh railway station.

Union Rural Development Minister Birender Singh will also be present on the occasion at Sonipat railway station.
The release said running of passenger train between Sonipat and Jind would connect several hinterland villages and urban clusters with 13 railway stations of which 10 will be new.
A host of other projects including new foot-over bridge at Sonepat railway station, a mechanized laundry in Chandigarh, will be launched by the minister.
