Filmmaker Prakash Jha is planning to turn his upcoming Amitabh Bachchan starrer movie "Satyagraha" into a book, which will be launched one week after film's release.

'Satyagraha' is currently being shot in Bhopal and also stars Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao.

Jha is working along with his co-writer Anjum Rajabali to modify the film's script into a book.

"The script was ready in 2011. Later, Prakash modified it numerous times to make it apt for the film he conceived," Rajabali said.

In the book, the writers would include required details from the original as well as the modified film script.

Jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Prakash Jha Productions, "Satyagraha" examines the current socio-political system in India.

It will hit the theatres on August 23.
