According to official sources, the President has been constant touch with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde about the developments.
Besides this, the President took regular briefings from Delhi Lt Governor Tajinder Singh and Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.
Ahead of his meetings with Women delegations, the President took an update from Dikshit about the health condition of the girl who is critical.
