Prasad appointed acting Chief Justice of Manipur HC

Justice Rakesh Ranjan Prasad, senior-most judge of the Manipur High Court, has been appointed as its Acting Chief Justice.

According to a notification issued by the Department of Justice, his appointment comes following the retirement of present incumbent L K Mohapatra.

Another notification said Justice Vipul M Pancholi, Additional Judge of the Gujarat High Court, has been elevated as a permanent judge in that high court.
