Prasad Delhi's new Vat Commissioner

Lt Governor Najeeb Jung today effected a reshuffle in the responsibilities of six IAS officers working in the Delhi government and appointed senior IAS officer H Rajesh Prasad as the city's new VAT Commissioner.

Prasad, the Member-Secretary in the Dialogue and Development Commission (DDC), has been given the additional charge of VAT Commissioner.

Besides, Jung has also given the additional charge of Director-cum-Secretary to another IAS officer, Jayadev Sarangi, who is currently the Secretary in Delhi Minorities Commission.

The transfers and appointments were made in view of senior IAS officer SS Yadav, who was the VAT Commissioner and Secretary-cum-Commissioner, going abroad on study leave soon.
 

IAS officer Sandeep Kumar has been given the additional charge of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC).

He has also been appointed as the

Secretary-cum-Commissioner in the Transport Department.

According to an order issued by the Services Department, CMD (DSFDC) Naresh Kumar has been given the additional charge of MD (DKVIB).
