Pravesh makes highest victory margin with over 2.6 lakh votes

BJP candidate Pravesh Singh Verma, who contested elections from West Delhi constituency, today recorded the highest victory margin of 2,68,586 votes, among the seven victorious BJP candidates in Delhi.

Pravesh, who is the son of Delhi's Former Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma, polled 6, 51,395 votes while Aam Aadmi Party's Jarnail Singh got 3,82,809 votes.

Verma, who is also sitting MLA from Mehrauli, has also left behind his party's candidate Maheish Girri, who defeated AAP's candidate Rajmohan Gandhi from East Delhi constituency by 190463 votes, which is the second highest victory margin.

In prestigious New Delhi constituency, BJP's Meenakshi Lekhi, who is the third highest scorer, defeated AAP candidate Ashish Khetan by a margin of 1,62,708 votes.
 

Lekhi polled 4,53,350 votes against Khetan's 2,90,642 votes.

In Northeast Delhi constituency, actor and singer-turned-politician Manoj Tiwari won elections 1, 44, 084, which is the fourth highest scorer in this Lok Sabha elections.

In South Delhi, BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri defeated Devinder Sehrawat of AAP by a margin of 1,07,000 votes.

Bidhuri, sitting MLA from Tuglakabad constituency, polled 4,97,980 votes against Sehrawat's 3,90,980 votes. Congress' sitting MLA Ramesh Kumar, brother of Sajjan Kumar, was in the third position with 1,25,213 votes in the constituency.
