Subrata Pal and Baldip have joined Prayag following their transfer from Pune FC along with Gourmangi Singh who was previously associated with Churchill Brothers SC of Goa.

The official signings took place at the Indian Football Association office in the presence of the Kolkata-based club's top officials Nawab Bhattacharya (Director), Alokesh Kundu (General Secretary) and other key IFA officials, a media release said.

Subrata Pal and Gourmangi were part of the squad that brought victory to the national team at the Nehru Cup for three successive years.

Baldip Singh is expected to add to the game strategy and strength at the mid field along with Carlos Hernandez, the release said.

"Subrata Pal is the ace goalkeeper in the Indian football scenario and Gourmangi Singh is well known for his defending acts. Along with them, we also have midfielder Baldip Singh to add to the strength of the team and cover positions," said Bhattacharya about the signings.

"Subrata and Gourmangi are two of the most skilled Indian footballers and their experience will be a big add on for our team. Prayag United has been developing a strong defence and these players are of great value addition," said Avik Bagchi, football secretary of the club.
