A western disturbance triggered light rains in the state capital which brought respite from heat today.
Dark clouds took over Jaipur and the nearby region which resulted in showers in the noon.
The pink city wore a gloomy look due to the intense dust storm and gusty winds which led to falling of trees in some areas.

The change in weather also brought traffic to a standstill in several areas.
"This is a pre-monsoon activity and the affect of western disturbance will continue for the next two days," MeT department said.
The mercury dipped by 3-4 degrees due to the rains.
On the other hand, Pilani, Rawatbhata, Churu, Jaipur and Bundi recorded 13.1, 6.6, 6, 3.5 and 2 (all in mm) rains till 8.30 AM today.
