Pre-paid card service launched by AIIMS Patna

A pre-paid card service was launched today to help people get rid of standing in long queque at the cash counter at AIIMS Patna.

The pre-paid card, launched jointly by AIIMS Patna and Bank of India, would help people pay for X-ray, ultra sound tests, pathological tests and other services, an AIIMS statement said here.

AIIMS Director J K Singh and Bank of India Executive Director R P Marathe were present on the occasion.

Marathe said similar facility was provided at AIIMS Bhubneshwar recently.

The pre-paid card can be available at the Bank of India branch at AIIMS by a payment of Rs 75 and it should be recharged by a minimum of Rs 100, the statement said.
 

In case of surplus money, if the consumer wants it would be transferred in his/her account in the bank.

AIIMS Director G K Singh hailed the service and said it would help people get rid of burden of carrying cash to the hospital.

The validity of the pre-paid card would be one year after which it could be renewed.
