Two people, including a pregnant woman, along with her two-year-old daughter allegedly committed suicide in Chandgiri village of Nashik district yesterday by jumping into a well, the police said here today.
A pregnant woman, Nanda Sopan Kadale (28), a resident of Chandgiri village and her daughter were missing since March 20.
Sopan Kadale, her husband had registered a complaint at the Nashik Road police station that his wife and two-year-old daughter was missing, the police said.
Yesterday, Nanda Kadale's body was found, along with her two-year-old daughter Snehal Kadale, in a well belonging to Parshuram Kadale.
Police said that Nanda took the step due to family clashes.
The police has registered a case of sudden death and further investigations are on, the police said.
