"The incident occurred when 25-year-old Manju was preparing tea on the stove and her daughter Laxmi was sitting behind her," Sukhdev Jangid, Assistant Commissioner of Police, said.
"Their thatched house caught fire and was damaged in the mishap," he said, adding that Manju's husband, who works as a sweeper, had gone out for work at the time the mishap was reported.
