A 24-year-old pregnant woman was killed on the spot after the motorcycle, on which she was travelling, fell in Naupada locality here, police said today.
Pinki Dubey, a resident of Srinivas Colony from Kalyan was on her way on the motorbike being driven by her husband yesterday.
Her husband lost control of the vehicle and both of they fell on the ground in the crowded Naupada locality at about 8.30 PM last night. Pinki, who was pillion riding, died on the spot, police said.
The Naupada police have registered a case of accidental death in this case.
