State-owned Pharmaceutical Corporation (IM) Kerala Limited's (Oushadhi) most popular product "Premayaoushadhi" in tablets would be launched on September 19.
Oushadhi's Chairman, Johny Nelloor told newsmen here today that this product was in powder form so far and following consistent demand from consumers, it was being converted into tablets.
Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy would lay the foundation stone for a new Panchakarma Hospital and Research Institute with 100-beds at an estimated cost of Rs 16 crore, here tomorrow which would be completed in two phases.
As part of the expansion programme, Oushadhi's one more factory would be set up in Thiruvananthapurm and Senior Citizens' Care Centre at Pariyaram (Kannur), he said.
