Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today asked officials to prepare new 'operation manuals' for all irrigation projects in the state.
Rao, who held a meeting with ministers and officials, said a 'Drinking Water Front of Telangana' be formed to oversee the state's needs by apprising the quantity of water drawn from each project to the state government's drinking water project 'Mission Bhagiratha', a release from the CMO said.
He suggested forming a 'Power Front of Telangana' to manage the requirement for each power plant from the irrigation projects, the release said.
