Presidency University Vice Chancellor Anuradha Lohia today met education secretary to discuss various issues including the vacant seats of the premier institution and audit of the state fund for beautification of heritage building housing it.
Lohia told reporters she met the secretary and discussed about the report submitted by the university earlier on the two issues.
Education minister Partha Chatterjee said "The VC has met the education secretary. I am now waiting for the update from the education secretary."

Chatterjee had earlier expressed concern about vacant seats at the Presidency University.
After talking to Alumni Association members, he had also said a special audit would be done of the state funding to the university for beautification of the heritage building housing it.
