President Pranab Mukherjee attended the 'shraddha' ceremony of his sister-in-law Manju Mukherjee at Bolpur in Birbhum district today.
Mukherjee reached Bolpur by helicopter from Panagarh, stayed for around two hours and left for Delhi.
Manju Mukherjee, wife of his elder brother Pijush Mukherjee, passed away on January 23 after prolonged illness.
She was a former Birbhum district Congress president.
