President begins 2-day visit to Karnataka tomorrow

President Pranab Mukherjee will tomorrow embark on a two-day visit to Karnataka, where he will attend the centenary celebrations of University of Mysore, besides dedicating to the nation renovated heritage building of National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences.

Mukherjee will address a gathering of students at University of Mysore tomorrow, from where he will come to Bangalore where he will inaugurate the celebrations to commemorate 100 years of the Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On Tuesday, the President will attend the second annual convocation of Central University of Karnataka at Kalaburagi.

Later, he will inaugurate the Magneto Encephalography Equipment at National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore. He will also dedicate to the nation renovated heritage building at NIMHANS.
