President condoles Akkineni Nageswara Rao.

President Pranab Mukherjee today condoled the death of renowned Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, saying the film industry has "lost a creative personality".

In his condolence message to his son, Nagarjuna, Mukherjee said an acclaimed Telugu film actor, producer and writer, Nageswara Rao will always be remembered for his memorable films.

"His singular contribution to Indian cinema was recognized through a number of awards. In his death, the film industry has lost a creative personality whose contribution to Telugu cinema remains unparalleled," the President said.
