President Pranab Mukherjee was in Nagpur today for a short span as he changed flights for his visit to Chhindwara district in Madhya Pradesh to attend a CII programme.
Mukherjee, who arrived by a special flight, was received at the Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport by Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, city mayor Pravin Datke and top civil and military officials.
The President boarded a helicopter and proceeded to Chhindwara. He will return to Nagpur in the evening and fly back to Delhi, official sources said.
