President, PM greet Jharkhand CM on his birthday

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on his birthday today.

The president greeted the chief minister over phone, an official release said.

Born on 3 May 1955, Das was sworn in as the sixth chief minister of Jharkhand in 2014.

In a tweet, Modi said, "Greetings to Jharkhand"s hardworking chief minister, @dasraghubar ji. His humility has always been endearing. He has been working round the clock to fulfil the aspirations of the people of Jharkhand. May Almighty bless him with a long and healthy life."

In his reply, the chief minister, who turned 63, said he was highly obliged for the inspiring blessings of the prime minister on his birthday.

 

Das said, "Pradhan mantri ji your good wishes provide strength and inspiration. You are yourself working untiringly without any break because of which the country is creating new records of development."

"Under your leadership we are engaged in all round development in Jharkhand," the 63-year-old chief minister added.
