Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao's book entitled 'Uniki', offering glimpses into his public life through a compilation of various articles, will be released by President Pranab Mukherjee in Hyderabad on July 3.
'Uniki' (Being or Existence) is a compilation of various articles authored by Rao and published by various Telugu newspapers and news magazines during 1975-2015.
The 479-page book offers glimpses into the public life of Rao, especially his transformation from being a student leader in Osmania University to the present day, a Raj Bhavan spokesperson said here today.

The articles cover diverse topics such as -- the demand for creation of a separate State of Telangana, a call for celebration of 17th September as 'Telangana Liberation Day' at the official level, demand for construction of check dams on Godavari and Krishna rivers, tribal welfare and others.
A few articles are based on the chapters from 'My Country, My Life', an autobiographical by senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, the spokesperson said.
There are also references to his work in the Legislative Assembly of the undivided Andhra Pradesh.
Rao was a practicing lawyer before becoming Member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1985. He was also the floor leader of BJP in the Assembly.
