President Pranab Mukherjee will make a one-day visit to Tamil Nadu tomorrow.
He will attend the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of M S Swaminathan Research Foundation, and deliver the First Rukmini Devi Memorial Lecture at Kalakshetra Foundation here, the President's office said in a statement.
He will also attend a cultural performance at Kalakshetra and leave for Delhi later.
The President will arrive by a special aircraft and security has been stepped up at the airport and elsewhere in view of his visit, police said.
