President wishes Subho Bijoya

"My advance Subho Bijoya and greetings of Eid-ul-zoha to the people of the country," he told at the conclusion of his three-day stay at his ancestral village Mirati where he worshipped his family deity Goddess Durga.

He was reported to have been present at the Maha Nabami puja till about 1.30 pm and met villagers inside his house.

There was a photo session with him and all those present there in front of the Durga temple.

Later he left for Kirnahar, 3 km away to the house of his elder sister Annapurna Banerjee, before leaving for Kolkata at about 4 pm enroute to Delhi.
