Anand Kishore Sahay of The Asian Age and Anil Anand of Greater Kashmir have been elected as the new President and Secretary General respectively of Press Club of India (PCI).

A statement said the elections were held on Saturday and Sahay, Cooridinating Editor of Asian Age, and Anand, Chief of Bureau of Greater Kashmir, were among those who won the elections.

Manoranjan Bharati, Political Editor of NDTV India, has been elected as Vice President while Ajay Aggarwal, Photo Editor of The Hindustan Times, and Jomy Thomas, Chief Correspondent with the Malayalam Manorama, were elected as joint secretary and treasurer respectively.
 

The new managing committee of 16 members has Aditi Tandon (The Tribune), Amrit Mohan (PTI-Bhasha), Annapurna Jha (The Pioneer), Atul Mathur (The Hindustan Times), Avtar Negi (DD News), Dinesh Sharma (Zee News), Girja Shankar Kaura (The Tribune) and Jitendra Kumar (Dainik Bhaskar).

The other members of the Managing Committee are Kalyan Barooah (Assam Tribune), Karuna Madan (Youimuri Shimbun), Manan Kumar (DNA), Praful Kumar Singh (ANI), Sanjay Singh (Rashtriya Sahara), Sudhi Ranjan Sen (NDTV), V K Chaturvedi (Rashtra Times) and Vineeta Yadav (ABP News).
