Pressurise Indo, Pak govts to resume dialogue: Bhat

Senior separatist leader and former Hurriyat Conference chairman Abdul Gani Bhat today called upon the people of India and Pakistan to pressurise their respective governments to resume the stalled dialogue process.

The people of India as well as Pakistan, in unison, should rise and build pressure against war mongering and jingoism and persuade their rulers towards the table, to talk Kashmir and find a way out, he said at a function to release his autobiography 'Beyond Me'.

The separatist leader, who heads the Muslim Conference, said the people of both the countries should stood in favour of the dialogue and create an atmosphere of togetherness in the interest of peace, stability and resolution of all disputes.
 

We want India and Pakistan to resume the stalled dialogue in the interest of stability and peace and resolution of disputes, Bhat said, adding it be will be a new step of togetherness.

He also urged the mainstream parties in the state to shun political differences and come together to draft a resolution impressing upon the leadership of India and Pakistan to resume the peace process.
