Realty major Prestige Group has tied-up with Disney Consumer Products (India) for developing Disney-themed homes in its biggest upcoming township project in Bangalore.
Prestige Group announced a "licensing deal with Disney Consumer Products (India) to offer Disney and Marvel inspired interiors and exteriors at the Prestige Lakeside Habitat, in the heart of Bangalore's IT hub, Whitefield".
Project, spread over a sprawling 102 acres, would be the largest residential development by the Prestige Group till date, spanning 102 acre and consisting of 3,428 apartments and 271 villas. The project is in development with MRG Group.
Residences are priced at Rs 61 lakh onwards and project will be completed in 2018, Bangalore-based Prestige Group said in a statement.
"Disney stories and characters resonate well with our fans in India. By providing this holistic experience, we hope to make Disney part of our fans day to day life," said Roshini Bakshi, VP and Head of Consumer Products, Retail, Publishing & Franchise Marketing, Disney UTV.
Disney home products span across total home solutions including furniture, bedding, rugs, tableware, kitchenware, fans, paints and bath accessories, she added.
Founded in 1986, Prestige group's turnover has crossed Rs 2,000 crore. Disney is the largest retail character licensor in the world with USD 37 billion in character merchandising retail sales globally in 2012.
Prestige Estate Projects share prices were up by 1.11 per cent to close at Rs 145.95 apiece on BSE.
