"He is likely to visit J&K on July 15 to seek support for himself for presidential polls. But his final schedule is awaited," J&K Congress spokesman and MLC Ravinder Sharma said.
He will meet the MLAs and MLCs of Congress, National Conference (NC) and other regional political parties, including PDP, JKNPP in Srinagar, for the July 19 elections.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has already announced his party's full support to Mukherjee.
National Conference has 28 members in the state's Legislative Assembly and six members in Parliament and Congress has 18 MLAs and three MPs.
While opposition PDP has 21 MLAs, JKNPP has three, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Party (JKDP), CPI(M) and Jammu State Morcha (JSM) have one MLA each.
