President Pranab Mukherjee's motorcade got stuck in traffic for a while as it took a wrong turn when he was on his way to attend a program at ITC Maurya here.
Instead of taking Eastern Metropolitan bypass, the President's motorcade took Park Circus Connector road.
The motorcade got stuck for 2-3 minutes but the traffic was cleared immediately and it was given a clear passage.
Mukherjee was to attend 35th anniversary of Bengali newspaper Aajkaal.
The President is on a three-day visit to his home state to attend several programmes. He will be addressing Bengal Business Summit tomorrow.
