Prices of urad dal, gram dal and wheat declined while the prices of other commodities remained steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Urad dal fell steeply by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs.8600 from its closing rate of Rs.8800.
Gram dal and wheat declined by Rs.50 per quintal to Rs.3,900 and Rs.2,650 from its previous rate of Rs.3950 and Rs.2700 respectively.
Thoor dal, moong dal, sugar, maida(90 kg) and Sooji (90 kg) ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,900, Urad Dal Rs 8,600 Moong Dal Rs 9,500, Gram Dal Rs 3,900, Sugar Rs 3,200, Wheat Rs 2,650, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,600.
