Prices of urad dal, moong dal increased while tur dal decreased in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Prices of gram dal, sugar, wheat, maida and sooji ruled steady.
Moong dal rose steeply by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 9,500 from its last week's closing rate of Rs 9,000.
Urad dal was up by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 9,000 from its closing rates of Rs 8,800.
Tur dal price decreased by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 7,800 from its previous rates of Rs 7,900.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri- commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise):
Thoor Dal Rs 7,800, Urad Dal Rs 9,000 Moong Dal Rs 9,500, Gram Dal Rs 3,950, Sugar Rs 3,250, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,450 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,650.
