Prices rule steady in thin trade

Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale market in the national capital today as prices moved in a narrow range on scattered deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said comfortable stocks position against sporadic demand kept prices unaltered.

Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):

Urad Rs 5,950-6,400, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 6,950-7,150, Urad best Rs 7,150-7,750, Dhoya Rs 7,550-7,950, Moong Rs 7,200-7,900, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 8,000-8,500, Moong Dhoya local Rs 8,000-8,300 and best quality Rs 8,800-8,900.

Masoor small Rs 5,000-5,300, bold Rs 5,150-5,400, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,100-6,200, best quality Rs 6,200-6,300, Malka local Rs 6,600-6,900, best Rs 6,800-6,900, Moth Rs 5,600-5,900, Arhar Rs 5,850-5,900, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 7,200-7,500.
 

Gram Rs 3,650-4,250, Gram Dal (local) Rs 3,950-4,150, best quality Rs 4,050-4,350, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog Rs 1,700, Rajdhani Rs 1,700, Rajmah Chitra Rs 4,000-5,500, Kabli Gram small Rs 4,100-6,400, dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 4,800-5,200, Peas white Rs 2,675-2,700 and green Rs 2,750-2,850.
