Two visiting BJPleaders have been presented with the 'Pride of India' awards for bringing honour to the community and country through their outstanding contributions.
Vijay Jolly, President of Delhi Study Group and former BJP MLA and Vijay Mehta, Vice President of the study Group, were presented the awards on Friday by Atul Pathak OBE, President of the Punjabi Society of the British Isles.
Jolly andMehta are currently on a short visit to London to promote people to people friendship between India and the UK.

Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan, Beti Bachao-Beti Padao abhiyan, decision to develop 100 Smart Cities, 50 million new houses by 2020, Make in India campaigns and voting rights to NRIs by the government of India have brought laurels to India worldwide, Jolly said.
"Surgical air strikes inside Pakistan by Indian military to destroy terrorist camps have amply demonstrated the strong will of India led by Prime Minister Modi to combat and destroy terrorism," Jolly said amidst cheers from the gathering.
The function was attended by prominent British businessmen, includingVijay Goel President London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
'Narendra Modi - The Game Changer' books were presented by Jolly and Mehta to NRIs Rami Ranger, Atul Pathak, Lalu Bhai Parekh and Nath Puri.
Earlier, during a visit to House of Lords,the visiting BJP leaderswerehonoured by Baroness Sandip Verma.
Jollyalso lauded BJP National President Amit Shah for making BJP the world's largest political party with 1.2 million members.
