Prime Focus Technologies (PFT), the technology arm of Prime Focus, today announced its plans to expand operations in the city, with a new centre that will cater to major international client engagements.

With over 500 employees at its existing Bangalore facility, the global R&D and software development hub for the company, PFT is now set to open a new facility at RMZ Ecospace that can seat an additional 500 people, the company said in a release.

The new centre will cater to major international client engagements, including MNET, Warner Bros., IFC and A&E TV Network, it added.

The company said PFT, which established itself as a garage start up, six years ago in Bangalore, is today a 1000+ (plus) strong global organisation, with clients and operations across Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, London, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and multiple locations in India.

Its hybrid cloud enabled CLEAR Media ERP suite has been adopted by the world's biggest broadcasters, studios, brands and digital businesses to run their content operations, it added.

"The stupendous global success of our CLEAR Media ERP suite has led to the imminent need to expand our teams focused on R&D, software development and delivery. Availability of top notch talent with proven experience across the software product development lifecycle is why we are expanding in Bengaluru", said Ramki Sankaranarayanan, Founder and CEO, Prime Focus Technologies.
