Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay concluded his three-day visit to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's home state of Gujarat here today.
Tobgay visited the Amul dairy in Anand town of Gujarat's Kheda district along with a delegation from the Himalayan nation, according to a statement issued by the Gujarat government.
"I have grown up experiencing Amul. I have heard about this lovely city Anand. Of course, I am delighted and honoured to be here to pay my respects to the spirit of Sardar Patel and Dr Verghese Kurien," Togbay said.

He said that he too belonged to a family of farmers and still has cows at home.
"All over the world, farmers and social workers draw inspiration from Amul's co-operative movement," he said.
Togbay was in Gujarat to attend the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit-2015, which began on January 11.
As per Gujarat government's official statement, Togbay appreciated the Gujarat state government's projects like Sabarmati riverfront in Ahmedabad and Charanka solar plant in North Gujarat.
Togbay said that he was impressed with the hospitality of the Gujarat government and wished to visit the state's famous tourist places like Gir Lion Sanctuary, Kutch desert, Kandla port and Lord Krishna's Dwarka.
