Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will travel to Germany in April to discuss ways to enhance strategic co-operation between the two countries in various areas, including energy and infrastructure.
During the visit, Singh would hold discussions with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
German Ambassador Michael Steiner today said the second round of government consultations under Singh and Merkel would be held in Berlin on April 11.
Speaking at a reception hosted for a Bavarian business delegation at his residence here, Steiner said the discussions would be on shaping strategic partnership in crucial areas.
These include "vocational training, university exchange and language learning, energy dialogue and environment co-operation in infrastructure projects", the Ambassador said.

Both countries have a good economic relationship and Germany is one of the largest trading partners of India.
