The Krishna district administration has slapped a notice on a printing press in the city for alleged violation of model code of conduct.

Though the name of the printing press was not revealed, Collector M Raghunandana Rao said the notice was issued to it for allegedly printing election pamphlets without informing details like the number of copies printed and the name of the publisher, according to an official release issued here last night.

The collector warned the printers in the district of stringent action to be taken against those who violate the election code of conduct.
