A prison guard was found murdered in the jail premises in Rajasthan's Sriganganagar district today.
Krishna Kumar, aged 52, who was on duty last night in the open jail in Jaitsar area, was found lying in a pool of blood this morning, Circle Officer (Raisingh Nagar) Ramkishan said.
Kumar was attacked with some blunt weapon, he said.
After the crime, a murder convict was found missing, the officer said.
