Two undertrial brothers, facing murder charges, today escaped after throwing chilli powder on policemen escorting them at a court here, police said.
The incident took place this afternoon when Surendra alias Adesh and Bablu, inmates of district jail here, were taken to the court for hearing, SP N Kolanchi said.
Surendra was later nabbed by the police, he said, adding Bablu is still on run.
