Private company cab stolen at gunpoint in Noida

A cab was stolen at gunpoint by two unidentified men from sector 126 here while it was waiting to pick up employees of a private company, police said today.

Cab driver Ramesh Pathak was waiting for the company staff last night when two armed men came and put a pistol on his head, overpowering him, police said.

They kept him captive in the Indica car and drove to Hapur, where they asked him to alight and drove away. Pathak informed the police afterwards.

Police said a manhunt has been launched to arrest the absconding accused.
