All private hospitals, clinics and nursing homes would remain closed on June 25 and no patient would be attended to, IMA, press secretary, Swasti Sharma said here today.

The call for the strike had been given to protest the latest Clinical Establishment Act 2010, he said, adding with the implementation of this Act, all small hospitals and clinics would come on verge of closure.

The doctors country-wide had alleged that the Clinical Establishment (Regulation and Registration) Act 2010 will lead to licence raj and will have negative impact on the vibrant health sector.

The IMA also voiced its resentment against the introduction of proposed National Council for Human Resources in Health (NCHRH) Bill-2011.
